Pakistan cricket team's fast bowler Muhammad Wasim Jr. has been ruled out of the Asia Cup T20 tournament due to a side strain injury.
Yesterday, fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr underwent an MRI scan after he felt pain in his back during a practice session in Dubai.
After reviewing the MRI scan report, the PCB medical panel has decided to send him back to the country.
In place of Mohammad Wasim, fast bowler Hasan Ali has been included in the squad as his replacement.
Hasan Ali will join the national squad by arriving in Dubai on the first available flight.
It should be noted that the Asia Cup is starting from August 27, Pakistan will play its first match on August 28 against traditional rival India.
