Meeting in the Interior Ministry, consideration of various options for legal action against Imran Khan

 

According to sources, law ministry and police officers are also participating in the meeting held at the Ministry of Interior and different options are being considered for legal action against Imran Khan.

Sources say that the meeting was told that according to the decision of the Supreme Court, there cannot be 2 FIRs for one incident, the rally held in favor of Shahbaz gul was also a violation of Section 144.

Sources say that the Ministry of Interior has sought the opinion of the Advocate General and the Ministry of Law on 2 options for taking legal action against Imran Khan.

According to the sources, an opinion was sought whether a case should be registered against Imran Khan separately or it should be made a part of the Shahbaz Gul case.

Sources say that the decision on the case against Imran Khan will be taken after the opinion of the Advocate General and the Ministry of Law.

It should be remembered that Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had also said in a press conference that there is no doubt that Imran Khan should be arrested.
