All obstacles to the agreement between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have been removed.
According to the Ministry of Finance, Pakistan has sent a letter of agreement to the IMF and the IMF will review the data provided by Pakistan.
The Ministry of Finance says that after the review of the letter, the IMF will send the final draft of the agreement to Pakistan today and after the review, the Acting Governor, State Bank and the Finance Minister will sign the final draft.
According to sources, the IMF Executive Board meeting is likely to be held on August 29.
