200 pilot whales stranded on the coast of the Australian state of Tasmania die.
According to the foreign news agency, efforts are underway to rescue the 35 surviving whales stuck on the beach.
A statement from the Tasmanian Department of Natural Resources and Environment said 230 pilot whales were stranded on the beach.
In this regard, the experts said that a pod of whales, which came to the coast of Tasmania in search of food, got stuck on the shore.
