He said that the imported government dropped petrol, diesel and electricity bombs on the poor people in the mill of flood and inflation in one day, electricity became more expensive by 4.34 rupees per unit, petrol by 2 rupees 7 paise, diesel by 2 rupees 99 paise. Expensive and increase of 10 rupees 92 paisa per liter in kerosene is the height of incompetence and shamelessness.
Instead of increasing the levy on petrol by Rs 10, the government increased it by Rs 17.5 to Rs 37.5 per liter. Instead of giving relief to the people on the drop in the price of oil in the global market, the apathetic government pocketed the profit.
